Thornaby Childrens Nursery

Confidence and communication are the principal themes of our work, linking children, staff and parents. A child’s Learning Journey begins when they join us at Nursery which could be from 6 weeks of age. Working in partnership with families we sow the seeds of each child’s security, understanding, imagination and achievements. It is on this firm foundation that a variety of broadening learning experiences are provided.

Our child centred approach means that children of different ages are encouraged to work at their own pace at any number of interesting and varied activities. The Nursery is a safe and happy place in which each child is nurtured. We share with the parents precious moments of progress and encourage each child’s unique potential. By the time a child is ready to start school, the foundations of learning have been lovingly laid in place.

Our opening hours (7.00am - 7.00pm), geographical location and amenities are within an imaginatively adapted Victorian house. Above all, our loving, family atmosphere contributes to our leading status in quality Child Care and Early Years Education in Stockton-on-Tees, Ingleby Barwick and the wider area.
