Age Range

Parents of children from the age of 6 weeks, while meeting their professional responsibilities, can benefit from the peace of mind of knowing that their child is being cared for under qualified supervision. We see personalised care as one of the most important aspects of our service. Our Key Person System promotes positive relationships with parents to ensure that their child is content and settled.

The Early Years Foundation Stage has been fully implemented into the Nursery Rooms.

Nursery rooms

Caterpillars 0-1 years and 1-2 years
Staff ratio – 3 children to 1 member of staff

Individual needs are taken into account when planning routines. Children of this age group are encouraged to learn through curiosity & exploration in a loving environment. There is a quiet area for babies to sleep in individual cots when needed.

Busy Bees 2 – 3 years
Staff ratio – 4 children to 1 member of staff

At this age the children are extremely active and are provided with lots of scope for stimulating play, as well as lots of encouragement and affection.

Ladybirds 3 - 4 years / Butterflies 4 – 5 years
Staff ratio – 8 children to 1 member of staff

Our Ladybird / Butterfly room is designed to provide the many aspects of learning required by Ofsted www.ofsted.gov.uk with excellent materials and resources. We strive to provide our children with the confidence and capabilities which will enable them to have a good start in school life.
