Class 1

We begin to discover a Nursery full of learning and fun.

Our key person greets us at the beginning of the sessions and welcomes us into the room.

Throughout the day we smile happily as we sing, dance and enjoy ourselves. We cheerfully paint, chalk and crayon, while listening to Nursery Rhymes.

Water play is great as we explore, splash and make bubbles. Building towers with the Duplo, soft bricks and wooden blocks is fun, but it’s even better when we knock them down! We love to tap and clap along to simple rhythms, and move, roll, stretch and explore.

We develop warm, caring attachments with our key person who helps us to learn new things and gives us lots of praise and encouragement. We enjoy quiet times, listening to favourite stories and having cuddles.

Learning to play with our friends helps us to communicate and build social relationships. This provides opportunities for sharing, caring and understanding their feelings.

Playing outside we have lots of space to run, climb, slide, balance and explore our large beautiful garden.

Our key person is very proud of our achievements and will miss us when it’s time to move to Busy Bees.
