We believe that every child has the right to quality care and education.

The Nursery provides an environment which values everybody, where families, staff and children work together reflecting the multi cultural society in which we live.

At Thornaby Children’s Nursery, we acknowledge that children learn at different rates and will need varying degrees of support from time to time. We plan to ensure that all children have access to a wide range of resources to develop their learning in the six areas of the curriculum and we will endeavour to take into account each individual child’s needs and interests.

Our resources take into account young children’s height and physical needs with child sized furniture and fittings

We recognise the expertise and skills that contribute to children’s development, and aim to work in full partnership with both parents and professionals to enable each child to reach their full potential.
